Krista Moroge

Krista was just one of those people who got you stoked. She showed me you can do adult things and still keep it real. I really missed Krista when she left Burton to take care of herself and her family and there was no one to drive us to the skatepark or say "we're leaving to skate, wanna come?"
Please donate generously to breast cancer research, there are lots out there.
Rest in Powder Krista!

BATB 3

I think some of these guy are going to be working a little harder this time around, money is money, gotta get paid anyway you can in this tough economic times.
But who fuckin knows who's going to win with injuries and subs (which are happening already). I would love to see a Cole vs Kennedy and Dennis vs Marks semi final, that would be crazy. You also can't count out the youngins maybe a Girl final, Kennedy vs Mike Mo. I am second guessing my choices already...

Big Box Bullshit

Another reason why going to big box stores suck. Right on the front of West49 a Go Skateboarding sign with the main photo being a surfer and surf boards, WTF! No wonder they are the on going joke of skateboarders.
This is a perfect example of why skaters/skate shops were pissed the Berrics was selling to West49 IN Canada and then going on about support core shops in the US.
Support you local skate shop...West49 IS NOT A LOCAL SHOP NO MATTER WHERE YOU LIVE!

New Habitat Video

Documenting a decade, defining the next…

Habitat was established in 1999 and released in Spring 2000, the same year as Alien Workshop’s landmark video “Photosynthesis.” Habitat’s segment in “Photosynthesis” was the brands first video project featuring the entire team and setting the stage for “Mosaic” & “Inhabitants.” Our upcoming video, “Origin,” is a visual retrospective of the past decade, showcasing the best of this 10 year period along with new full length video parts from Silas Baxter-Neal, Austyn Gillette, Guru Khalsa, Steve Durante, Daryl Angel and Marius Syvanen with a substantial amount of footage from the rest of the Habitat team. “Origin” is slated to premiere September 15, 2010.

Hot For Teachers

Hey! Teachers! Leave them kids alone!
Parents from the Wonderland Avenue Elementary School PTA in Los Angeles enlisted the help of actors Megan Fox, Brian Austin Green, and Geoff Stults for a video aimed at blocking the nearly $2.5 billion in proposed education cuts from the California state budget, which is due for a vote at the end of April. Good for the parents realizing that you need to stoop to the lowest level to get your message out in America...celebrity.
