Let's Try It Again.
Last time, Felix Arguelles and a lawsuit with Kenny Anderson who never got paid his royalties.
In ‘03, Nike bought Converse for a solid $305 million.
Spring ‘09 new skate models, some already popping up in skateshops . The team Anthony Pappalardo, Sammy Baca, Nick Trappasso, Raymond Molinar, Ethan Fowler, Jack Curtin.
Noticeably absent, Peter Smolik, who has been telling people he is on the team.
Shoe Tree
Shecks On The Big Screen. Fuck, Again?!?
As if Grind (’03) and Most Vertical Primate (in which he nearly suffocated to death dressed in a monkey suit), Shecks will be all up in it next year with the upcoming release of Tooth Fairy. Its a fantasy/comedy with Sheckler acting alongside Billy Crystal, Ashley Judd, Julie Andrews, and The Rock among others in a plot so far-fetched. Stay tuned. On second thought, you can just question my credibility now.

Quiksilver Up For Sale?
The New York Times Dealbook blog mentioned Quiksilver and Nike in the same article today. So?
"One small deal that may be in the works would be the sale of Quiksilver, a maker of surfer-style clothing, to Nike or another strategic acquirer. Quicksilver has retained Morgan Stanley to advise on its strategic alternatives."
And seeing as Quik’s stock closed well below the $2 mark again today it could be a good deal, as long as Nike doesn’t mind buying over a billion in debt.

I Think I am Tripping Out!
L.A.-based artist Joshua Callaghan uses his education in cultural anthropology and fine arts to create sick installations that serve as both art and a way to disguise undesirable city objects such as utility boxes. Using adhesive vinyl graphics (merchandisers take notes), the images reflect the nature that could be hidden behind or in place of the object actually there.
Skate photos on this stuff would look so sick.
Fuck Gatorade
Dropping the unwanted sugars that make Gatorade and other endurance beverages hard to swallow, Nuun delivers the electrolytes your body needs while lightly flavoring your water with a hint of lemon and lime, orange and ginger, citrus fruits and more.
$6.50 a tube (roughly 50 cents per 16 oz. drink), you'd be hard pressed to find a cheaper sport drink.
Later hangovers.
