Habitat was established in 1999 and released in Spring 2000, the same year as Alien Workshop’s landmark video “Photosynthesis.” Habitat’s segment in “Photosynthesis” was the brands first video project featuring the entire team and setting the stage for “Mosaic” & “Inhabitants.” Our upcoming video, “Origin,” is a visual retrospective of the past decade, showcasing the best of this 10 year period along with new full length video parts from Silas Baxter-Neal, Austyn Gillette, Guru Khalsa, Steve Durante, Daryl Angel and Marius Syvanen with a substantial amount of footage from the rest of the Habitat team. “Origin” is slated to premiere September 15, 2010.

While in Whistler he, Alex "Burton knowledge bank" Adrain and Joe Gaetani took time out from shredding and partying to make this short film for the 72 hour Whistler Film Festival. The ended up getting first. Now they can go back to shredding and partying.

Where Did All The Team Riders Go???

More team cuts at Burton?!? Not really, even though Shaun, Peetu, Kelly and Hannah's (and many more names) names are missing off the team pages on the Burton site it is just due to more Olympic bullshit.
Here is why 41 team pages are currently missing some of their best team riders.

Olympic Charter Rule 41 - Eligibility Code
To be eligible for participation in the Olympic Games, a competitor, coach, trainer or other team official must comply with the Olympic Charter as well as with the rules of the IF concerned as approved by the IOC, and the competitor, coach, trainer or other team official must be entered by his NOC. The above-noted persons must notably:
– respect the spirit of fair play and non violence, and behave accordingly; and
– respect and comply in all aspects with the World Anti-Doping Code.

Bye-law to Rule 41
1. Each IF establishes its sport’s own eligibility criteria in accordance with the Olympic Charter. Such criteria must be submitted to the IOC Executive Board for approval.
2. The application of the eligibility criteria lies with the IFs, their affiliated national federations and the NOCs in the fields of their respective responsibilities.
3.Except as permitted by the IOC Executive Board, no competitor, coach, trainer or official who participates in the Olympic Games may allow his person, name, picture or sports performances to be used for advertising purposes during the Olympic Games.
4. The entry or participation of a competitor in the Olympic Games shall not be conditional on any financial consideration.
